Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement.

Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation.

We have resources to help your church!

A Place to Belong is a two part video series intended to equip ministry environments to better serve children who have experienced trauma and the families caring for them. A Facilitator's Kit and handouts are also available to use in conjunction with this resource.

We're happy to help with facilitation, or if you feel comfortable, you can take the lead!
